There are a variety of components to CTMod that are useful.

I suggest you download the "Advanced" zip, and just delete out what folders/components you do not want to use.

I have put some add-ons back in game and now they are working kinda funny
got the bars to go on two char. but now it will not open so can reset or hotkey

so ? is do I need to delete completely again or is there a easier way to get it on and set up properly

Make certain you have the most recent release of CT. There were some changes in a recent patch that completely borked their settings interface.

Delete out what you have in the Interface/Addon directory and slap some fresh ones down.

If Bolshka's suggestion still doesn't work, let us know. I'll walk you through taking out the files in your WTF folder that regard the settings.
