| Try reading the Front Page at the WoW community site at Blizz once in a while (senses crazy-cat- lady-locked-in-house vibes). It's also been the top line of the Launcher for 4 or 5 days.
Basically, WotLK will have a new Character sheet page. Achievements. may be as trivial as getting a shave and a haircut (new customizer in the xpac) and as major as how many kills you have Lifetime. Exploration, Fishing, all kinds of things. Too bad all anybody will see is KILLS. This is the reason (I believe) for the recent upsurge in the PvP in the low level areas again.

Teach me to log in sometimes I guess. Been really busy.
*ahem*
Discussing Achievements. Maybe a way to drive up World PVP...initially, BUT... ultimately it'll mean that my participation back in the Undead Invasion and the An'Queraji invasion will mean something besides a blue sitting in the bank and some VERY OLD stamina buffs....they'll also get to see things like ranks you earned, special mounts you gained, etc.
It's cool for us "collector" types;)

| Sil's been on hiatus I think the draw of Achievements reaches far beyond the scope of world pvp, at least that's the intention. Collecting all exotic pets, special mounts, killing Brutalis, beating heroic Magister's Terrace under an hour with no wipes, hitting the gold cap… It all adds up to boasting rights, and that's what WoW's all about - right? It's pretty cool, though, to be able to examine this sort of thing on other people and see what they have accomplished. It'll also be interesting to see how many times I've died or how many times I've killed a certain boss. Interesting concept! | |

There's a lot of good changes on the way for gaining space back....

| Indeed, I'm thrilled for the pet/mount thing... though it makes me sadpanda that I already ditched a few pets/mounts due to lack of space. Ah well, might could get the pets again through seasonal questing! | |
