Now, that's just cheesy, Blizz. Making the pet that easy to get doesn't mean that we should lose the pet the second we zone or log.

I call LAZY!

Temp fix:

Log out in the Inn in the area that you obtain the pet in. DO NOT ZONE OUT!

Example: Human, log out in the Goldshire Inn. The pet then remains in your bags.

Do not hearth anywhere until after you do this. If you do, the pet disappears. Load screen = erased pet if you haven't logged out in the nearest Inn first.

I'm pretty disappointed with the pet, it stays an object in your bag after use (ANOTHER holiday item to stow) and it's only usable two days out of the year.

It's a skeleton with a sombrero... c'mon, people, that's a great frickin pet. Blizz taunts us!

Pet has now been corrected to be used at any time! Still stays in your inv though.

Well, updating one last time. Of my four characters that lost the pet, one has had it replaced. *sigh*

Update: All Day of the Dead marionettes were removed from the game. No idea if we'll get them again or get credit for having had them, or if they'll be permanent. Sad really. At least we got XP for the quest if we were lower level?
