HINT: How to raise Enchanting more quickly

You can raise Enchanting more quickly if you take Tailoring as well. Then you can disenchant many of your made items to get supplies to raise your enchanting.

Also, farming in instances for greens makes it much more simple to have mass amounts of disenchantable items that you don't have to share.

To find more recipes, occassionally, like other professions, you can find some on the second page of the Trade Good Vendor menus in various cities. One I can think of immediately is Southshore's, as well as the wandering Goblin merchant with Harvester guardian sells some.

You can reenchant items over and over, to drive up your skill as well. Just click "okay" when it prompts you if you "really" want to replace it.

It is also helpful to keep a set of any kind (white to epic) bracers, a cloak, a 2-hander weapon, a one hander weapon, a chestpiece and some boots in your bag or bank, so that you have something to enchant on when you don't want to ruin the enchantments you've put on your own gear. Or alternatively, enchant a low-level for free. They rarely will turn you down.

Lastly, Enchantments and Armor kits do NOT stack. Sorry!

Enchantments DO work with gem slotting.
