Netherdrake Reputation Guide
Thought this would be helpful.
To start you need to get to neutral to do that follow this quest chain.
Which starts from Mordenai, in Shadowmoon Valley.
Kindness -Fly up with your flying mount and ride below the big dragon, it patrols around the area.
Next quest in this series is: Seek Out Neltharaku -To talk to him, just fly a bit below him with your cursor pointing at him, it will turn white and then you can talk to him, once you talk to him he will hover in the air at that place for a while.
Next quest in this series is: Neltharaku's Tale
Next quest in this series is: Infiltrating Dragonmaw Fortress -To complete Infiltrating quest, just kill the Dragonmaw outside the gates for less adds and hassle. As the quest clearly states, head east to get to the Dragonmaw's.
Next quest in this series is: To Netherwing Ledge! -To get to the Netherwing ledge, just follow the quest descriptions... it clearly states that you are supposed to head south east to the island on the map.
Be prepared to fight 2-3 mobs at the same time as the Nethervine's are sorrounded by minimum 2 mobs.
Also watch out for the 71-72 patrols that wander around.
You can fly around a little and find vines that has only 2 mobs if you have problems with 3.
Next quest in this series is: The Force of Neltharaku -Upon using the gem to free the Enslaved Netherwings, make sure you wait a little before you engage anything around it, as it take a small while for it to get neutral to you.
If you should happen to get aggro from it, just kill all other things and then run out of it's range, it'll run back and you will get quest credit.
Next quest in this series is: Karynaku -You don't exactly need 5 people for the Karynaku quest, as it is just a hand in.. but if you go do this, make sure not to accept next quest before you are ready! Upon starting following quest an event will start with 10 archers killing you very quickly.
Next quest in this series is: Zuluhed the Whacked -First of all, clear out the two Enslaved Netherwings in the courtyard, then go to the right side door and kill the 2 shamans inside. After you kill those, all go in close to Karynaku.
Everyone make sure to hand in previous quest then one person start this one and all others immediately select to start it as well when asked.
Quickly everyone run into the right side room you just cleared and tank go stand by Zuluhed. The reason for this is because the courtyard walls fill up with dangerous archers!
Once the event finish, tank taunt it and run into the room joining the others.
He hits fairly weak, but of use tanking gear if using warrior tank. During the fight he will use rein of fire, wich you will want to quickly move out of, easy to dodge so just move if he does it over you.
Another thing he does is to summon demons through portals.. these are actually very big, so they take up a bit of the room, they are fearable, I used AOE fear on them to keep them away once they got to the third demon. He will do it more than once as you can understand by previous statement.
Main focus on Zuluhed and kill him asap, the demons won't despawn but you can grab the key from his corpse and then it won't matter if you die or not.
If you die, there is a way back up to the top in ghost form, so no need to release at graveyard.. unless you like doing that to your gold and gear.
Once you got the key, you are ready for next step, so head to Karynaku and Right click on the ballchain attached to her to free her, make sure all group members are close on doing so.
Talk to Karynaku to hand in current quest.
Next quest in this series is: Ally of the Netherwing
Woot! Now that you are neutral talk to Mordenai again, be sure to have 300 Riding Skill and a Mount. Some of the following info is from TenTonHammer.
So It Really Begins
After you are neutral, he will talk to you about infiltrating the Dragonmaw Army. He will then send you to speak with Overlord Mor'ghor, the leader of the Dragonmaw. He is located at Netherwing Ledge. You will change in appearance when you get close to the camp. This is because you are working as a spy now. This spell, which changes you into a fel orc and your mount into a netherdrake, will cause all of the fel orcs to become friendly to you. It is only in effect in the vicinity of Netherwing Ledge.
Once you arrive and speak with Overlord Mor'ghor, he puts you to work by sending you to get tasks from Taskmaster Varkule Dragonbreath.

| Bolshka: continued… - Quote :
- This is where the new quest types come into play. The majority of the quests available for reputation gains with the Netherwing faction are daily quests. They will have the tag (Daily) beside the quest title in your quest log. These quests can be repeated, but you can only do them once a day. Likewise, you can only complete a maximum of 10 daily quests in one day.
The quests you receive from the Taskmaster vary by your professions. Herbalists will be required to collect 40 netherdust pollens from the netherdust bushes found around the area while miners are required to mine 40 nethercite ore in the deposits found in the area. Skinners will be asked for 40 Nethermine Flayer Hides. Only one of the three gathering quests may be completed each day. Players without a gathering profession will receive a quest to gather crystals from the bodies of mobs they have killed.
Standing near the Taskmaster you will see the goblin Yarzill the Merc. He is your guy on the inside. He gives you more daily quests to help increase your reputation.
His quests include:
Poisoning the Peon Camps -This requires Fel Glands that drop best from Diemetradons, and Felboars. When you get 12 Fel Glands, you will use the mutton that Yarzill provides to poison 12 camps of Peons in the area.
Collecting Netherwing Relics -Kill transporters at the dock, and they drop the relics. You can attack the transporters right as they spawn/fly from the dock, but it is much easier and less competitive to go to the nearby floating rocks and grab them as they fly by.
Finding Netherwing Eggs -These can drop from any creature or item node on the ledge. -I got most of mine from mines, but they don’t seem to be too rare of a drop either.
Neutral-Friendly Now on the first day of rep grinding you should get to about 2000 rep doing all available quests. But being the hardcore individual you are, you can get the other 1000 from eggs that you can find good luck with that though they drop but are not a guaranteed. Or you could just wait until tomorrow and do these quests again.
When you get your reputation with Netherwing to friendly, you will have more quests available. The majority of these will be daily also. You can also continue the earlier repeatable quests. These new quests include things like disciplining 20 dragonmaw peons, collecting cargo from a mine, and killing a number of certain mobs. You will also receive a combat pet trinket that will summon a combat pet while in Shadowmoon Valley. This trinket can be upgraded along the way.
Disciplining 20 Dragonmaw Peons -Chief Overseer Mudlump will first need some mats for your Booterang, which are 10 Knothide Leather, and an item from Tyrantas’s in Eco-Dome Farfield, Netherstorm. Turn these in, discipline 20 peons that are sleeping, disobedient or otherwise not engaged in the good work set before them!
Collecting Cargo from the Mine -Mistress of the mines, found right at the entrance wants you to pick up stray Cargo inside the mine.
Killing Crazy Murkbloods -Ronag the Slave Driver is found by the big dragon in the mine. He will give you the quest to kill the Murkbloods. They are past the Flayers.
Killing Flayers -Dragonmaw Foreman is found right by the entrance of the mine, he will ask you to kill the Flayers.
This is as far as I have gotten so far, the rest is directly from TenTonHammer. As I continue I will put in the details. At this point I have done 7 daily quests, and with my egg turn-ins have 2325 honor into friendly.
Do these new quests until you reach honored reputation. Now you will have more quests available to you (starting to see a pattern yet?). Your combat pet will be upgraded so that you can summon a combat pet in all zones.
These new quests include things like gathering materials to build a cannon, killing a number of mobs in Twilight Ridge in Nagrand, and particpate in a race where things are thrown at you to make you lose. At revered reputation, you will be able to get another daily quest where you get to lead a battle. You will also receive another upgrade to your trinket that adds 45 stamina.
Repeat until you become exalted, at which time you will be discovered as a spy (by no less than Illidan himself), saved by your merc friend, and given your netherdrake as a quest reward. There are five colors available for you to pick from. If you want a different color later, you can purchase a different netherdrake for 200g at the basecamp on Netherwing Ledge. The colors are azure, cobalt, onyx, purple, veridian, and violet (there are only five available with the quest turn-in, the extra color can only be bought).

| Bolshka: Note to those who seek your Netherdrake mount… after you finish the quest Zuluhed the Whacked, you can go no further in the questline unless you have 300 in your riding skill. Yes, that means you must have the 5,000g up front… waaaay before you'll ever see the beloved Netherdrake. Suckage! BUT, even without the staggering amount of cash needed to continue - I highly recommend you people run the questline up to that point. Slaying Zuluhed is a snap with a 5-man group (tank/heal/fear works VERY well, focus all dps on Zuluhed and keep out of his Reign of Fire). There is a blue quest reward with your name on it at the end. Bolshka got himself a hawt lookin shield: Netherwing Defender's Shield | |

| Bolshka: Details on the Zuluhed the Whacked quest... You'll find Karynaku inside the orc stronghold on a platform, chained down. You'll talk to her to start the quest but TAKE HEED BEFORE YOU DO. Clean out both dragons in the courtyard and all mobs to the chambers on either side. You don't need to worry about the ones along the ramparts or overhead. Have your team wait in either the left or right chamber AWAY FROM THE DOORWAY. The tank (or you) should walk up to Karynaku and start the quest. Zuluhed will appear in the archway and you will IMMEDIATELY get assaulted by a hail of arrows. Be quick, fly by Zuluhed to nab his aggro and touch base with your team. Apply DPS accordingly, it's pretty much a tank & spank style fight. He will occasionally drop an aoe fire attack called Reign of Fire, just pull out of radius and you'll do fine. At ~30% he will morph into a demon and summon another Magtheridon-sized demon (huge). Have the tank nab aggro on it real fast, but FOCUS YOUR DPS ON ZULUHED. DO NOT GET DISTRACTED. Once he's dead, loot the corpse for the key and use it on Karynaku's chains, then talk to her for completion. You'll get a free DRAGONFLIGHT down to safe grounds for a touching reunion of Karynaku and her mate... your reward will be uberbleu! Check the model on that hawt shield, yo.... | |
